My work is focused in the painting. I try to create a way to transmit the introspection and the isolation that I feel while I am working. The process of painting is for me a disconnection moment, when I can stand for hours sheltered of the contemporary mass-media, where images are bombing all time, losing its own value. Because of that, painting emerges like something primitive that is born in the roots of what means to be human.
As Ortega y Gasset said: “Painting is not, therefore, a way of being or the walls or a way of being of the clothes, but a way of being human that humans sometimes exercise”
